Dr. Sadaf Hafeez Chohan

Dr. Sadaf Hafeez Chohan is serving as an Assistant Professor, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, and Hypnotherapist at Ziauddin University, since September 2021. She graduated from the Institute of Clinical Psychology, University of Karachi with a Ph.D., PMDC in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Sadaf has also done her Diploma in Complementary Therapies (DCT) and a Certified Hypnotherapist from National Guild of Hypnotists, USA. She has worked as a consultant clinician for 13 years with several reputed organizations. She has also rendered her services as an inspiring academician at various HEC recognized educational institutions. She is a member of APA, PPA& GRDS and also a part of Advisory Board, ISSUP Karachi, Pakistan. She embodies a strong intellect, critical thinking, good communication skills, and has a good foundation in research with several publications in national and international journals under her belt. She has manifested her expertise in diagnosis, assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems among both children and adults.

Ms. Syeda Sania Khalid

Ms. Syeda Sania Khalid

Ms. Syeda Sania Khalid is working as a lecturer and Lab Psychologist at the College of Clinical Psychology, Ziauddin University, Before Joining Ziauddin, Sania worked as a Psychologist and Behavior therapist at the Institute of Holistic Rehabilitation & Inclusion (2021). She has also worked as a research officer at The Center for Non-Communicable Diseases which is an independent research institute in Pakistan (2020). she also provided Psycho social support in response to Covid-19, a project by United Nations and Development Program (Pakistan), UNFPA and local Government Sindh. Moreover, she has keen interest in neurodevelopmental disorders and child psychology and worked at Liaquat National Hospital as a Trainee Neuro Psychologist where she gained experience in Assessments, and therapies, for one year (2018-19). She Earned her Psychology Masters Degree from University of Karachi (2017).

She is dedicated and ambitious Psychologist with proficiency working with children and Families, and has deep understanding of psychological disorders, therapy techniques and social milestone.

Dr. Saba Yasien

Dr. Saba Yasien

Dr. Saba Yasien is Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Psychology, Ziauddin University since August 2021. She holds MA, Post Magisteral Diploma in Clinical Psychology, Mphil and PhD degrees. For over 15 years, she has been involved in clinical practice, research and teaching. She has extensive work experience in major hospitals of the metropolis, rehabilitation centers, and universities at national and international level. Her research interest includes depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, suicidal behaviors, adolescent mental health and well-being. She has been serving as research supervisor at graduate and postgraduate level and reviewer of different journal in the field of psychology. Dr. Yasien has expertise in psychological assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults.

Ms. Anusha Sajid

Ms. Anusha Sajid

Ms. Anusha Sajid is working as a Clinical Psychologist and Lecturer at College of Clinical Psychology, Ziauddin University. She has completed her BS (Honors) in Psychology and MSc in Psychology from University of Karachi. She has completed her training from Liaquat National Hospital as a Trainee Psychologist. Where she gained her major clinical experience and worked with individuals, including children, adolescents and adults, as well as families, couples and groups in a range of settings. She also worked with other professionals such as psychiatrists, neurologists and social workers in order to deal with clients’ complex issues. She exhibits superior communication skills to uncover complicated mental health issues and has extensive experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating patients.

Ms. Sajid has also worked in United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as a Clinical Psychologist in response to COVID-19 emergency project to provide Psychosocial services in all over Pakistan.

Ms. Sarah Jehangir

Ms. Sarah Jehangir

Miss Sarah Jehangir is the head of department for Clinical Psychology. Before joining Ziauddin University, she worked as a Clinical Psychologist at Liaquat National Hospital. She earned her Psychology Masters from the University of Punjab (2003) as well as a Post Magistral Diploma in Clinical Psychology from Institute of Professional Psychology, Bahria Univertiy. (2004). She completed her Diploma in Health Care Management from IBA in 2017.

Ms. Jehangir is extensively involved in teaching, research, and clinical practice with expertise in child psychology. She has successfully presented research papers in national conferences at the Pakistan Society of Neurology. Her research interests include neuro-developmental disorders and neuro-cognitive illnesses in child, adolescents, and adults.

Ms. Mariam Kamran

Ms. Mariam Kamran

Ms. Mariam Kamran is working as a lecturer at the Department of Clinical Psychology, Ziauddin University. Before joining Ziauddin University, Mariam worked as a teacher and supervisor in Leicester, UK. She has earned her Psychology Honours Degree at De Montfort University, Leicester (2019). Miss Kamran has a keen interest in Research and Academia. Through her experience in both the UK and Pakistan, she aspires to help create innovative and unique ideas that will aid in increasing not only student experiences but client’s clinical experiences as well.

Ms. Shumaila Atif

Ms. Shumaila Atif

She is working for the Ziauddin University Hospital as a Lecturer & Clinical Psychologist. She has done DRCD (diploma in rehabilitation of child disorders) and recently completed her MPhil in Clinical Psychology. My expertise are in the area of Psychological assessment and Therapy, Moreover, she has experience in teaching psychology. Her areas of interest include research and therapy, and she is always looking for new information in order to keep herself upgraded with the new options.
